Sunset Hills Nursery School Teachers & Staff
We have a wonderful staff here at Sunset Hills Nursery School. We are all here because we love to see children grow and learn in a safe and caring environment.
Teachers:
Jackie Rombold 2-day Two-Year-Old Classroom Teacher
Jackie has been teaching at Sunset Hills Nursery School for three years now, but she has worked in education for over 17 years. She has a degree in elementary education and has taught from preschool to 5th grade.
Maureen Ondrako 2-day Three-Year-Old Classroom Teacher
Maureen has been at Sunset Hills Nursery School for eleven years in many different positions. She will teach again this year in our 2-day 3's class. This is her sixth year as a lead teacher. She received her 4-year degree from Penn State University.
Susan Dunay 3-day Three-Year-Old Classroom Teacher
Susan will be teaching our 3's again this year, this will be her sixth year as a classroom teacher. She will also be assisting Mrs. Rombold (Miss Jackie) in the two-year-old class for her third year. She received her 4 -year degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Linda Snyder 3-day Three-Year-Old Classroom Teacher
Linda will be teaching our 3's again this year, this will be her eleventh year here as a classroom teacher. She also taught previously at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.
Erica Larkin 4-day Four-year-old Classroom Teacher
Erica has been a teacher at Sunset Hills Nursery School for seven years. This year she'll be teaching the 4-day 4's. She has her Elementary Teaching Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh.
Jennifer Kotkiewicz 5-day Five-Year-Old Classroom Teacher
This is Jennifer's third year with us in the 5's. She taught a 5's class previously for three years at another preschool. She got her Elementary Teaching Certificate from Carlow College.
Assistants:
Michelle Brumfield She will be assisting for her fourth year in our five-year-old class with Mrs. K. She received her degree from Ithica College in New York.
Wendy Crowley This will be her sixth year with us as an assistant. The year she will be assisting both Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Ondrako in the 3's. She has her BA from Salem State College in Massachusetts.
Christine Huber This is her first year with us as an assistant. The year she will be assisting Mrs. Larkin in the 4's. She has her BA from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa and her Masters in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh.
Deanna Niggel This will be her first year with us as an assistant. She will be assisting
Mrs. Rombold (Miss Jackie) in the M/W 2's. She got her Elementary Teaching Certificate from Carlow College.
Barb Sansone This is her fifth year as an assistant, this year she is assisting Mrs. Dunay in the 3's. She received her 4-year degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Director:
Terri Reinhart is istarting her sixth year as director here at Sunset Hills Nursery School. She has a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Hamline University in Minnesota.
